What business are you really in?

90 Seconds On: How purpose helps identify what business you are really in!

"What business are you in?" is a question we are often asked at parties.

It seems easy, right? If you work for Apple, you would say you are in the technology business. If you are an employee of Nike, you would say sporting goods and apparel. And if your current career stop is at Procter & Gamble, you would say consumer household goods like toothpaste, detergent and shampoo.

In this short video, you will see why these companies are NOT in the above businesses and you are likely not in the business you think, either. When companies don't know what business they are REALLY in, it is more difficult to make sales because messaging is confusing. You will also see how purpose provides a clear, concise and compelling articulation of what business you are really in.
