90 Seconds On: Why define purpose in 7 words or less?

I am often asked why the Blueprint standard is to define purpose in seven words or less.
I am almost always frustrated when consultants and academics talk about purpose because their definitions are so long and convoluted. When your purpose is confusing, it is virtually impossible to implement successfully. Your purpose should be simple and self evident. In this short video, I will provide three logical reasons why your purpose statement should be clear, concise and compelling – in 7 words or less!
